LEONARD JAMES JANSON
WELL YOUR FAITH WAS STRONG BUT YOU NEEDED
PROOF YOU SAW HER BATHING ON THE ROOF HER
BEAUTY AND THE MOONLIGHT OVERTHREW YOU
leonard here is a twenty-four-year-old tourist from the
big apple. he's spent the last seven years there, first at
juilliard and then on the great white way as gabe in
next to normal, but now he's trying to recover from
a pretty serious car accident (he was hit when he
tried to cross the street by a drunk driver).
personality-wise, he's definitely an optimist,
through and through, and that's pretty obvious to
everybody he meets. he likes people (or most of
them, at any rate), and he's generally quite friendly
to just about everybody. he can be a little bit
(or, you know, a lot) high-strung at times, though,
and, for obvious reasons, a bit dramatic. he's
totally a perfectionist too, so if you ever get stuck
working on something with him, you'd better do it
right.
his secret? he's absolutely, positively, 100%
terrified of even the idea of sex. he has
no real problems with intimacy or commitment, but
the second things turn in that direction he magically
has somewhere else to be. it's led to quite a few
awkward moments (he can't even stand to be around
people talking about sex, and he has to avert
his eyes during sex scenes in movies).

leonard's a friendly person, overall - he really likes
people, and it shows in the way that he interacts
with them. he's definitely a little high maintenance,
though, so his friends would have to put up with
quite a bit of (somewhat good-natured) whining.
he'd also have some friends from high school that
graduated with him or before him or after him or
whatever, because he grew up in point arena. i'd
also reallllllly adore a partner-in-crime for him,
someone that acted with him in wss (pb -
chris pine because they're awesome together.
it'll be in a character request as soon as i get to it).
they'd be vacationing together or something like
that.

so, leonard's obviously got some issues here. he's
into girls (and if you imply anything else, whether
it's because of his lack of action or his profession,
he'll kick your ass [or at least try to]), but he just
can't stand the idea of sex, so it's a no-go there.
up until that point, though, he's perfectly fine -
in fact, leonard's a bit of a hopeless romantic. dating,
&c. is fine with him, so he might have a few exes
from his high school years, one of whom he might
still have a thing for (preferably kristen bell? idk,
this'll be in the character request too). maybe that
girl could be the one to help him get over his weird
phobia? he's pretty prone to crushes, too, so go crazy.

well, even though he's been in paris for
about four months, leonard's still very much
a tourist; he still gets all excited when he sees
the eiffel tower, can't speak french without long
pauses, &c., so some people will probably be
annoyed by that. he tries, but new languages
aren't him. he's a serious perfectionist and has no
problem picking out what bothers him or what
he thinks is wrong, even if it means singling
out one particular person, so some people
would definitely resent that.
